Bradford City Community Foundation's FDP was founded in May 2016 with the idea of bridging the gap between grassroots and Academy Football. Initially, the centre started with a small group of players aged 7-16; it has since grown to 80+ players on a weekly basis across all age groups.

U23 Elite Development Squads

Our U23'S Elite Development Squad play in a competitive league, which is the best standard outside of our Academic system; the National Football Youth League. This age range trains twice / three times a week, and, again, this replicates the work done by a professional footballer - practicing the best of both technical and tactical work.

Whilst part of this programme, we also ensure that players are on a football pathway outside of our programme, which may include playing at u23 level, or above, with professional Football Clubs or good amateur open age sides.

Whilst also playing at a fantastic level, the players will also study a degree in Football Coaching and will gain valuable work experience along side this with Bradford City Community Foundation, and will be given the opportunity represent the club across numerous levels.
