The Bradford City FC Community Foundation have partnered with Bradford City AFC and Penny Appeal, a charity which provides aid to at-risk people around the world, to provide free food to the most vulnerable members of the Bradford community. The scheme is a three-way venture between the Foundation, the Club and Penny Appeal.

Accessing food:

The new scheme, which will utilise a Penny Appeal food truck and the Foundation’s City Hub cafe, will provide food, warmth and shelter this winter and beyond. The truck will be placed in front of the City Hub, opposite the University of Bradford stadium's Club shop, from one hour after BCAFC fixtures on match days

The truck will also make an appearance every Thursday evening at the same location from 6pm-6:45pm.

Food items will be donated by members of the public, the City Hub, the Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank, and Tiffin Stadium Catering.

Donating food:

Food donations can be made in-person over the counter at the City Hub cafe. All food is welcomed and appreciated, however we would ask all donators to focus on providing dried goods which have a long use-by date, and can be consumed/eaten with a minimum of cooking or preparation required.

You can also donate money which will be used to purchase food for the food bank/truck via our donation page.
