Bradford City FC Community Foundation is proud to host our weekly Moments Cafe, a space for people aged 65 +, which is dementia and Parkinson's inclusive.

Held every Thursday at the Foundation's City Hub between 10am - 1pm, the Moments Cafe combines both a relaxed space to chat and enjoy refreshments alongside low-impact workshops and sessions which positively impact memory recall, and rhythm and mobility to assist in daily life.

The Moments Cafe is completely free to attend, and attendees and their carers and family members are welcome to attend every week. Free refreshments are provided every week, including snacks and drinks, with weekly menus available. We also provide hot community meals on a seasonal basis.

Activities delivered at the Moments Cafe include:

  • Games, including bingo, cards, quizzes and friendly competitions!

  • Gentle rhythm and mobility exercises.

  • Themed sessions - with everything from Christmas to Halloween to St Patrick's Day!

  • Music and films from across the decades, to improve memory recall.

The Moments Cafe allows our attendees to relax and access support in a safe, warm space each week. Our team of qualified delivery staff and volunteers support all of our guests through relaxed conversation, prompting chats on everything from life stories to personal achievements to shared experiences.

Every Thursday | 10am–1pm

City Hub, 36 Valley Parade, Bradford, BD8 7DZ

Friendship Walks:

As part of our Moments Cafe, we are also running a series of Friendship Walks, which allow our attendees to get out and about in Bradford with the Foundation team. The Walks take in Bradford landmarks, with participants transported to each location for a short walk around, soaking in Bradford's local history, before being transported back to the City Hub. This is a chance for attendees to swap stories, explore their lives across Bradford and the district, and make new friends in the process.

Participants will be encouraged to bring along their phones or cameras, to capture images on the walks. These images will be then collated and formed into an exhibition celebrating Bradford, the city’s history, and the creativity and unique points of view of the project’s participants.

The Friendship Walks are supported by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, and are completely free to attend.

Spaces are limited. Interested parties are encouraged to complete this registration form, or get in touch with Pavan Sembi via:
