Bradford City AFC and their charitable arm, the Bradford City FC Community Foundation, hosted a special Iftar event to celebrate Ramadan with the Bradford community.
The event was held at the University of Bradford Stadium, and welcomed attendees from across the city, including local stakeholders, partner organisations, Bantams supporters and members of the public.
Liam Mould, Fan Engagement Officer at Bradford City AFC, said: “It was absolutely fantastic to bring everyone together at our home stadium to celebrate Ramadan. The turnout was excellent, and we were delighted to welcome a wide range of people, whether they were observing Ramadan or not. Events such as these allow us to form a deeper connection with our local community, and ensure that Bradford City AFC is an inclusive, welcoming, community-focused football club.”

The event, entitled Together Iftar, featured a guest panel of speakers who discussed the importance of such events, how football clubs and their charitable arms can continue to set standards for inclusion, and the role sport can play in breaking down barriers to community cohesion.
The panel was composed of Lizzie Saunderson-Trowell, COO at the Bradford City FC Community Foundation; Ridwana Wallace-Laher, Trustee of the Bradford City FC Community Foundation; Sanaa Bashir, a student on the Foundation’s Football and Education programme, and Emily Brenson, a diversity and inclusion advisor.

Lizzie Saunderson-Trowell said: “We at the Foundation are committed to engaging our community however we can, and events such as the Together Iftar are our opportunity to do so. We are proud to provide services which all members of our community can access and benefit from, and feel welcomed at. I’d like to thank all of our friends, partners and supporters who joined us in making the Iftar another special occasion, as we and our football club continue to use the power of the City badge to support as many people as we can across Bradford and the wider district.”

The Iftar also featured Sheikh Muhammed Taaha Al-Junaid, from Bahrain, performing the call to prayer prior to the breaking of the fast.

I was really impressed by this article about the Together Iftar event. It was great to see how Bradford City AFC and their Community Foundation https://similarsites.co.uk/true-fortune-casino/ brought people from across the city together during Ramadan to share a meal and experience a sense of unity and celebration. I especially liked that attendees came from different age groups and cultural backgrounds — it really highlights the club’s care for the community and inclusivity. Initiatives like this truly strengthen local connections.
I discovered this platform while reading through a UK forum where people were discussing different gaming sites and sharing mixed opinions. That actually made me more curious, so I decided to test it myself. At some point during browsing I used atlantic spins and noticed how easy it was to get into the games without wasting time. I had a losing streak at the beginning and almost quit, but after a few more rounds I managed to recover my losses and even finish with a small profit. That made the experience feel more reasonable overall.
Hi all, nice to be part of the community. I spent some time browsing through a few discussions and it’s interesting to observe how people interact and exchange thoughts. Online platforms like this usually include r2pbet participants from different countries, which adds variety to the conversation. Reading different comments helps to see many perspectives. I also noticed that users from the United Kingdom are present among those participating here.😀
