The Bantams faithful are being encouraged to use the BetterPoints app for a chance to win their City season ticket.
BetterPoints is a rewards app which has recently launched across West Yorkshire, giving anyone who lives, works or studies in the region the chance to earn rewards for everyday journeys — including football matchdays.
Adam Keizer, Bradford City AFC’s Sustainability Lead, said: “BetterPoints is a fantastic way to reward our supporters who use public transport or active travel as part of their journey. It aligns with our Greener Bantams commitment to sustainable matchdays and we’re excited to offer Bradford City supporters the chance to win your season ticket as an incentive to get involved.”

The BetterPoints app launched in January and encourages travellers to find sustainable ways of getting around. It is a free app which measures the user’s journeys in their daily lives, with users earning points for the more active travel systems, including walking, wheeling, cycling and taking public transport. Points can then be redeemed for high street vouchers, spent at local businesses or donated to charities - and now, City fans can use the app for a chance to win their 2026/27 season ticket.
Lizzie Saunderson-Trowell, COO at Bradford City FC Community Foundation, said: “Here at the Foundation, we are committed to supporting environmental initiatives alongside our club and across our city. BetterPoints is a fantastic way to introduce sustainable, measurable and impactful changes to the thousands of people who attend games every weekend. We are excited to be working with the club on leading environmental change in our community.”
The BetterPoints team will be in attendance when City take on Peterborough on Saturday 14th February, which marks the club’s first-ever Greener Bantams Day. The BetterPoints team will be present in the Morrison’s Family Stand lower concourse, and available to chat to fans all about the new scheme.
“It’s brilliant to see Bradford City AFC and their Community Foundation getting behind BetterPoints in such a positive way,” said Jack Windle, Chief Transport Officer at BetterPoints.

“Football clubs sit right at the heart of their communities, and this partnership is a great example of how sport can help encourage healthier, more sustainable habits. We’d love to see as many fans as possible download the app, choose active or public transport on matchdays, and be rewarded for it, all with the chance to win an incredible prize along the way.
