We are delighted to announce that our PFA Community Player of the Year 2019 - 20 is Ben Richards Everton. We nominated Ben Richards Everton as our Community Player of the Year 2019-20 as he has proved to be a great ambassador for our Football and Education Scholarship and the Community Foundation. Ben came through the Education Programme with Barnsley and is the ambassador of our Football and Education Programme. He's attended a number of events to support their work and to recruit more students for next year. We recently had a visit from the Premier League touring with the Premier League Trophy, and Ben was delighted to attend the presentation with local school children. Alongside his teammates, Ben also attended both BRI and St Luke's hospitals in Bradford just before Christmas to distribute presents to all the children's wards at the BRI and St Lukes, which really helped put a smile on the faces of those children unfortunate enough to be in hospital over Christmas. Ben's also paid some surprise visits to our holiday football camps with a number of our other players, which has proved to be a super treat for the children attending. Community Manager, Ian Ormondroyd, has said of Ben, "It's great to see the players going the extra yard to support different good causes in Bradford, as well as doing a lot of good work in the Community" Ben is a great example to our scholars, and is a great advocate of the importance of being a role model in the community, so, "Thank you and well done, Ben!".
