City legend Wayne Jacobs will return to his Bradford City AFC stomping ground as part of the Bradford City FC Community Foundation's annual Day on the Pitch.

Jacobs, who represented the Bantams with distinction for over a decade between 1994 and 2005, will manage a team as part of the Foundation's Play as a Pro experience.

The Play as a Pro project is a special experience on the iconic University of Bradford turf for City fans to take part in. The Bantams faithful will have the chance to play an exhibition match at their team's, complete with full walk-outs, full match video coverage, and team photos - and one of the teams will now be led by Wayne Jacobs.

Jacobs, who won promotion with City during the 1998-99 season, will manage on of the teams on the day. He will be joined by another former Bantam, who will be announced soon.

The Play as a Pro experience is available for 18+ year olds only. It will consist of a 60-minute game (with a fifteen minute break) taking place between 5.30pm- 6.45pm. There will be a short warm-up before the match, and friends and family are welcome to stay and watch the game in the Morrison's Family Stand.

Teams will be 11-aside with four subs for each team - and everyone will get a chance to play big minutes!

Places are limited for both games, so City fans are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. You can book a place for the experience here.

Yeah, I’d be careful with random listings because lid sizing can be surprisingly tricky. I once bought lids that said “8 oz,” but they didn’t sit right on our cups, so we had spills during morning rush. Check the cup diameter, not just the ounce size, and order a small case first if you’re testing a new brand. McDonald Paper is a solid place to check: https://www.mcdonaldpaper.com/safepro-rddl8w-reclosable-white-plastic-dome-lid-for-8-oz-hot-paper-cups-1000-cs They focus on food-service supplies, so it’s easier to find matching cups, lids, sleeves, and other café basics in one order. Not overhyped, just dependable for everyday restaurant stock.
