Premier League Inspires is a secondary school targeted intervention programme, and this season it will be delivered by 54 club charities.
Launched in 2019, Premier League Inspires creates life-changing opportunities for young people who may be at risk of not reaching their potential to engage with positive activities, helping them to develop the personal skills and attitudes needed to succeed in life.
Using the power of football, the programme helps to prepare young people for further education and employment through a series of face-to-face mentoring sessions, workshops and social-action projects.
Now in its sixth consecutive year of delivery, Premier League Inspires has engaged more than 40,000 young people aged 11-to-18, supporting them to reach their potential in more than 1,000 education establishments across England and Wales.
The programme is delivered in Bradford by Premier League Inspires Coordinator, and professional footballer, Darcie Sugden-Brook.
Darcie and our team deliver a range of enrichment activities for secondary school pupils in both group and one-to-one settings, specialising in improving confidence and attainment, and facilitating and building their life skills. This is a participant-led delivery project, which includes classroom and outdoor-based sporting and non-sporting interactive activities designed to nurture skill-building, peer-to-peer communication and team-building, and to foster the skills young people need to make a success of their academic and professional careers.
