Bradford City FC Community Foundation, alongside the Morrisons Foundation and McDonald's, is proud to introduce SWERVE, a new weekly football session for boys and girls in Bradford.
The session will be delivered by the Foundation's team of qualified coaches, hosted at a local Morrisons store, and is part of McDonald’s longstanding 20+ year commitment to grassroots football, and to supporting the young people and families who make up the communities that we serve.
SWERVE is completely free to take part in, and will feature a mixture of footballing fun, a chance to chat and make friends, and plenty more!
Our vision is to inspire young people to achieve their potential and improve their wellbeing; working together to build stronger, safer and more inclusive communities.
Our SWERVE sessions are for young people aged 14-18.
We currently run SWERVE sessions at the following venues and times:
Day: Every THURSDAY, starting THURSDAY 4TH JUNE
Time: 4.30pm - 5.30pm (GIRLS SESSION), 5.30pm - 6.30pm (BOYS SESSION)
Location: Morrisons, Young St, Bradford BD8 9BN

WHAT IS SWERVE?
The SWERVE initiative engages disadvantaged young people, using football as a tool to reduce anti-social behaviour, foster community unity, and create opportunities for personal growth.
By bringing sessions directly into local areas, the program builds trust through detached youth work, targeted age-group sessions, and NEET support for career development.
